Micah has over 24 years of securities industry experience. He utilizes this extensive experience in helping to achieve the wealth preservation objective for his clients. As a managing director at Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, he is able to structure diversified portfolios through asset allocation studies, risk analyses and performance monitoring.

Micah’s expertise in alternative investments, including private equity and hedge funds, enable him to discuss detailed risk and returns strategies with his clients.

Prior to joining Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, in 2016, Micah was a vice president in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs. Prior to that, Micah was an options trader at Montgomery Securities and on the Pacific Stock Exchange. Micah was also recognized on Barron's Top 100* list from 2011 to 2016.

Originally from Mill Valley, California, Micah attended Claremont McKenna College, where he was a defensive back and participated in competitive boxing matches while earning a bachelor’s in economics. He went on to obtain his master’s in business administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his wife, Cara, and their three children. Micah coaches his children’s baseball, soccer and basketball teams and enjoys exercising seven days a week.
