Prior to joining Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James in 2016, John has worked for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management since 2006. Prior to that, he worked for Northern Trust Securities for nine years and was instrumental in establishing that business unit in the State of Texas. He is an industry veteran with over 29 years of experience working with high net worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs and business owners. His practice is concentrated in significant relationships which allow him to focus on creating custom solutions to very client specific needs.

John was a past board member of the Houston Ear Research Foundation which helps people of all ages hear better through Cochlear implantation. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He is a past board member of the West University Little League and has coached or helped coach numerous baseball, softball and football teams for youth sports. He is also Past Master of Oak Forest Lodge #1398 A.F. & A.M. His hobbies include upland bird hunting, wing shooting and inshore saltwater sport fishing.

John earned a B.A. degree from Schreiner University and is series 7, 31, 63 and 66 licensed. He also holds a life, accident & health insurance designation. He lives in Houston with his wife Kim and their three children, Harrison, William and Elena.
