Lauriann Delay, CFA®

Client Advisor


Lauriann has managed her clients’ portfolios for more than twenty years as part of her thirty year career in
the financial services industry. She considers her greatest professional accomplishment the deep and
lasting client relationships built throughout the years. Many of those relationships span decades of
changing family or wealth dynamics, dreams, and aspirations. It is those relationships, and helping her
clients preserve and grow their wealth through changing times and goals, which bring Lauriann great
fulfillment. She combines her gift of caring instincts with her technical and professional experience to
guide clients with a thoughtful, process-driven approach.

Prior to joining Alex Brown, Lauriann was a Senior Institutional Consultant and Senior Portfolio
Manager for Morgan Stanley, and a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs. Earlier in her career, she
was a Portfolio Manager at Mellon Trust and a US Treasury bond Sales/Trader at Citibank. Lauriann
earned her MBA from New York University and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.

Believing that giving back is as important as achieving her professional goals, Lauriann has considerable
non-profit board experience including the Rene and Veronica diRosa Foundation, where she is a Trustee
Emeritus, and alsoas an Investment Committee member for URI (United Religions Initiative). Lauriann
additionally served as Chair of the Investment Committee at Mills College and for the Parents’ Council at
Lewis & Clark College.

Lauriann lives in San Francisco with her two small dogs, and shares her time between California and New
York.
