As managing director at Alex. Brown, Mike serves a global account base encompassing wealthy families, corporate executives, mutual fund companies, hedge funds, pensions, charitable trusts and family offices.His clients rely on him for institutional and bespoke equity research, trading solutions and innovative asset management strategies.Mike works to complement the internal research efforts of his institutional clients with company-specific, industry sector and asset class analysis.

Mike began his career in financial services as an investment banking analyst.He started serving institutional clients in 1997 as part of Citigroup and RBC Capital Markets Desks in Boston. He also helped build Deutsche Bank’s Equities business in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to joining the financial services field, Mike served as a legislative aide to Florida Senate President Ander Crenshaw.

Mike graduated from the University of Florida and received the International Rotary Scholarship to study in Austria. He is a lifetime member of the UF Alumni Association, a member of the UF History Department’s Advisory Board, a graduate of Leadership St. Pete, a trustee for the JAX Chamber and has served on the board for Young Life Jacksonville.

A resident of sunny Florida, Mike lives in Jacksonville with his wife and children.In addition to spending time with his family, Mike enjoys sports, reading history, live music and playing guitar.
