As the regional executive for Alex. Brown’s Atlanta office, Eric acts as an advocate for the area’s financial advisory teams, ensuring they have access to the breadth of valuable resources offered by Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he lends his knowledgeable insight to help financial advisors better serve the needs of their clients while addressing their business goals.

Eric is proud to be a member of the Alex. Brown team and works to uphold the firm’s legacy of boutique service backed by corporate capabilities. Further, he actively strives to nurture a culture of collegiality for the client advisors he works with.

Before joining Alex. Brown, Eric was the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where he was also a member of the operating committee. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Eric worked in wealth management at Goldman Sachs and held both advisory and management positions at Bank of America's Private Bank.

Prior to beginning his financial services career, Eric was a Navy pilot for eight years, with tours as a Plane Commander I Mission Commander of the P-3 Orion and as an Instructor Pilot in Pensacola, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

An active member of his community, Eric sits on the boards of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, one of the largest food banks in the country, as well as the Kyle Pease Foundation, an organization which supports disabled individuals’ participation in athletic events. He is also a past board member of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History as well as the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, Atlanta Chapter. As a veteran himself, he frequently supports veteran initiatives and organizations, including American Corporate Partners, which helps create mentorships for individuals leaving the military with corporate professionals.

Eric lives in Atlanta with his daughters, Mae and Harper. In addition to spending time with his family, Eric enjoys sports, travel, live music and playing guitar.
